Wyandotte County Historical Museum

The Wyandotte County Museum staff works to identify, collect, preserve, interpret and disseminate material and information pertaining to Wyandotte County history in order to assist the public in understanding, appreciating and assisting in the preservation of the heritage of our city and county.

It is anticipated that in 2008 attendance will increase to more than 3000 visitors, and the success of the museum can be credited to the efforts of a small but dedicated staff. Along with the director, a curator and an archivist, each who have an instrumental role in the daily operation of this facility. There is a concerted effort to succeed in bringing new displays and exhibits that may be of interest to the general public.
